Many people are against our surgery. Often, opposition states that we are giving into the androids, becoming them, rather than fighting them. In other words, they are saying that our mission contradicts our practice. This is simply not true.
We are not joining the androids by possessing traits like them any more than the androids are becoming more human by possessing humanlike traits. No matter how many modifications you get, you will still be human. These androids have never been human, and therefore never can become close to human. Therefore, we can never become true androids. It is like saying that because we possess weapons like our enemies, we become our enemies. Of course not! We simply adapt to combat our enemies. That is the goal of Humani.
