12/28/2004 Entry: "bad news sad news disappointing news"
Black. White. Grey. Why must everything be black, white and grey? This year end is the worst time of the year. Sorry to say that. Just a day after Christmas, earthquakes occurred in Indonesia, and caused more than 20,000 deaths across 10 countries, including mine. That little island Penang (where I'm living in) got hit by tidal waves and took 38 lives. The shores and coastal areas are in wreck and rubble. Well, that's bad enough. Even Penang bridge was closed today and roads were closed today. All I can hear are sirens of ambulances on the road.
If that's not bad enough. My grandfather passed away today. He was on life support for the whole day.. and finally at 8.30pm he slipped away peacefully. *sigh* I am scheduled on a holiday flight tomorrow which has to be cancelled. Funeral stuff comes in the next 3 days before new year. I have to wear black and white. But I'm not fussing. It's a sad, sad occasion. I hope new year comes soon so I can try to forget the bad things that happened this year.

Hey there.
Yes it is truely sad that so many people had to die in the earthquake. Not a day goes by that I say that i'm very lucky to still be here.
Btw, also wanted to comment on your cool page. I love JJ Lin songs. He's definately one talented Singaporean music artist.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. :( *hugs* At least he had the chance to pass away peacefully...
